Scribus Open Source Publishing and Layout
This work was done in Scribus. Scribus is an Open Source Desktop Publishing program that works in Linux, Windows and Mac. You can download it here: http://www.scribus.net/
I also used Krita to make the 3D background to mount them on.
Click to enlarge and get a clear image.
You can download these and other templates for Scribus at www.kde-files.org

"I also used Karita to make the 3D background to mount them on."
Sounds like an interesting tool, could you please indicate where to find it?
Ok, forget it, probably you meant krita... :-)
Sorry for the delay... Krita is a Linux only progarm that is like a light but still very capable version of photoshop.

You simply make a gradient then make a transparrent duplicate of the image only upside down and underneath to mount them.
